Fenton Glass

Fenton Hobnail Glass

Milk glass almost always glows under UV black light! It's true, but it has nothing to do with uranium.1 That's a wives tale.1 It has to do with the fluorescence in the white pigments.1 White hobnail is the most famous with its array of regular bumps.

One of the greatest makers of milk glass was the Fenton brothers of the Fenton Art Glass Company.1 Their work included not just the conventional white milk glass, but also the beautiful black, pink, blue, amberina, cranberry glassware with awesome hobnail patterns that made them famous!

You'll find beautiful collectible Fenton glasses, pitchers, baskets and dishes for sale on eBay at unbelievable prices.1 Rare unmarked Fenton glass (pre-1974) and beautiful antique pieces will make great gifts for Fenton or other glass collectors!

Since Fenton is shutting it's factory doors soon, announced in 2007, these one of a kind collectible will be gone fast with nothing to replace them, so look for cheap vintage, limited edition hobnail milk glass, soon to be an antique, for sale on eBay!
